“Ingenuity for life” connects SIEMENS and tennagels Medientechnik
Corresponding to the company slogan “Ingenuity for life”, Siemens AG, Power and Gas Division, surprised visitors in 2019 with an imaginative modernization of its visitor area in Mülheim an der Ruhr. In close cooperation with tennagels Medientechnik and LAVAlabs Moving Images, an innovative multimedia centre was created at the world’s most advanced location for the design and production of gas and steam turbines, and generators for power plants.
Individual media control – special solutions from tennagels Medientechnik
This unique multiplex area can be used either for internal security training or as a visitor room of visual and acoustic excellence. The special feature of the three multimedia stations lies in the individual customized programming of the tennagels media control system. The individual stations provide exciting insights into the SIEMENS way of working and provide information about the digital transformation of the individual production worlds. Thanks to the special development of tennagels Medientechnik, each particular station offers multiple use and can also be controlled for presentations via iPad.
Multimedia experiences in a unique visitor centre in North Rhine-Westphalia
Four 55″ digital signage displays form a complete screen in portrait format. The individual SIEMENS content was designed and realized by LAVAlabs Moving Images, as were all other stations in the room. Three HoloPro pyramids offer a stunning three-dimensional insight into the inner workings of the latest turbine developments. And the diverse applications of the 55″ TouchTable are mirrored on the corresponding 98″ display on the wall behind the multitouch table. The cutting-edge media technology from tennagels underlines the leading role of digital transformation of SIEMENS AG in the field of digital transformation through the merging of real and virtual worlds.
Inventiveness with vision
With the realization of digital media and virtual applications for a state-of-the-art visitor centre, SIEMENS AG has made an important contribution to the future-oriented research, development and sustainability of the Mülheim site.
