In the film by Wilo TV, we learn many interesting insights about the world’s leading premium supplier of pumps and pump systems. The industrial construction project in Wilopark covers 194,000 square meters and will be realized by 2022. tennagels is particularly proud of this project at Wilo. This is because the special LED technology created there is very effective for the Wilo brand and its recognition value.

LED outdoor experience in Wilopark

A special solution like this proves that modern architecture is effective, exciting and unique. And that it is the interface between functionality and entertainment. By the way: At 324 m², the mega screen in Wilopark is the largest outdoor screen ever installed on a company site in Germany.

Growing from challenges

We gain important experience in the construction phase. The Wilopark project is a good example. Here, the special challenge in the construction already became apparent in the development phase: The unusual width of the screen required a special solution, because when the temperature changes, the different expansion of the manufactured LED cabinets compared to the supporting steel structure and sliding support must be compensated. This now also works in the area of the 90° corners without visible joints appearing in the course of the year. Projects like these prove that everything starts with imagination and progressive action.

Deliver presentable results

At 324 square meters, the u-shaped facade of the technical headquarters forms one of the largest outdoor LED walls in Germany. Two side wings, each 9.00 m long, flank a 28.00 m long and 7.00 m high digital building front whose pixels are only 5.95 mm apart. This outdoor LED installation thus fits perfectly into the first futuristic architecture on a German corporate campus. The result is a unique custom LED solution.

Its enormous luminosity attracts special attention, especially since it is located at the most frequented site of the Wilopark.
