Spraywall
Graffiti on a digital concrete wall as an innovative, interactive interface between art and media.
Street art at the Düsseldorf City Library
Light Grafitty and interactive painting
The passion for and appreciation of graffiti art is widespread. A street art scene developed in New York in the 1970s and graffiti art found its way into art galleries and museums as early as the 1980s. Today, graffiti art has developed into a globally recognized form of modern art that is constantly seeking new ways of expression.
By combining digital technologies, Tennagels has further developed the form of expression for artists and companies – which can be tried out by anyone interested in the Düsseldorf City Library as an innovative, interactive interface between art and media
Integrated Media
The digital spraywall works with virtual reality technology developed by our programmers. With real spray scans, users can paint “with light” in different colors on the surface alone or in groups. Either on the “bare” concrete or image/video backgrounds. The resulting artwork can be used to extend users’ engagement with your brand on social media. They can be transferred to a smartphone or tablet and shared on social networks.
The spraywall also functions as a large-scale monitor for events. Retro games such as Pacman can also be played on the wall, using the spray cans as controllers.
Due to the flexibility and adaptability of digital technology, this product can be used and customized in many ways through individualized surface materials and digital backgrounds with personalized brand messages or product communication.
This is exactly where our Integrated Media solution comes in: Image and We hide media surfaces in architectural Elements.
Interactivity and user experience move into the center
With our Integrated Media solution, we have created the perfect tool for merging architecture and media The modular system was specially developed and designed by us to realize aesthetically sophisticated room solutions. Invisible LED screens in concrete architecture allow the most creative applications for POS, trade fairs, retail design and many other architectural areas. The LED material used is of course fully video-compatible and equally suitable for interactive applications, presentations or websites. An established, functional wall system allows the application to be configured quickly and easily. The individual elements are joined together with simple aluminum connecting fittings. The 40 mm thick wall elements are manufactured in a lightweight wood-optic construction with an environmentally friendly paper honeycomb middle layer. The connectors hold all the elements together precisely – creating an authentic, homogeneous overall surface.
