tennagels Medientechnik GmbH implemented the integration of state-of-the-art media technology in the Wilo Group’s Health Cube in Dortmund, thereby making a significant contribution to the creation of an innovative health center.

With the Health Cube, the Wilo Group has opened a state-of-the-art health center at Wilopark in Dortmund. For this project, we were entrusted with integrating the media technology and developing a tailor-made solution to meet the diverse requirements within the building.

Spanning approximately 5,500 m², the Health Cube combines medical care, diagnostics, therapy, and preventive and fitness programs. The building is part of Wilopark, Wilo’s sustainable corporate headquarters, and represents a key component of the company’s global health management strategy. The diverse areas of use required a precisely coordinated technical infrastructure.

Precise Implementation by tennagels

In this project, tennagels was responsible for implementing key aspects of the building’s technical systems. The focus included the planning and implementation of efficient utility infrastructure, as well as the integration of modern, energy-optimized systems. The following elements were installed:

  • Signage displays with content fed by WILO
  • Installations in the provided rack (amplifiers, network equipment, audio processing, wireless microphones)
  • Connection panels and touch panels for audio zone control
  • Surface Hub

The implementation placed high demands on planning, coordination, and execution due to the combination of medical use, modern building technology, and sustainable construction methods.

Close collaboration with all project partners ensured that the project was completed on schedule and to a high standard of quality.

The Health Cube is part of the sustainability-focused Wilopark and was designed to be energy-efficient. The technical infrastructure is geared toward energy efficiency and long-term flexibility, ensuring that future requirements and innovative applications in the healthcare sector can be seamlessly integrated and supported.
