The Spaceship Earth and other icons are brought to life at night in every Walt Disney World theme park with their special glow.
Special "light points" on the Spaceship Earth in EPCOT
Following a test a few weeks ago, the first “points of light” were installed on Spaceship Earth at EPCOT as part of the iconic attraction’s new nighttime lighting package. Over the past month, Walt Disney Imagineering has taken a closer look at the lights, which are being installed in a grid pattern between the Alucobond panels of Spaceship Earth.
At the moment, the lights are being installed primarily near the top of Spaceship Earth. Currently, about 46 lights have been installed, which look especially magical in the dark.
