Rheinische Post - A special kind of Düsseldorf media partner

tennagels Medientechnik and Rheinische Post present themselves as a successful creative team right at the start of 2020. Together, those responsible developed an ultra-modern concept for the redesign of the former showcases in the Schadow Arkaden in the heart of Düsseldorf's city centre.

Interactive newswall in the Schadow Arkaden Düsseldorf

Multitouch on over 8 square metres

Three multi-touch 98-inch displays form a single interactive newswall measuring 3.73 metres wide and 2.18 metres high. Interested parties can use hundreds of touch points simultaneously on over 8 m2. The content of the digital wall is updated every three minutes, in the same way as the RP ONLINE news service. This includes the classic sections: politics, business or sport as well as the latest weather reports, coverage of the regional traffic situation or the local events calendar.

As a responsible medium, the Rheinische Post also fulfils its key role on the subject of inclusion. Specially developed barrier-free applications within the media wall contribute to an equal opportunities information policy. By touching a button, the entire operating surface of the digital wall shifts to a height that also allows wheelchair users to make full use of the information on offer. The font size of the text can also be enlarged. For people with little technical affinity, an interactive guide provides simple instructions to make the user interface easier to use.

The special development by tennagels Medientechnik offers a unique digital customised solution both for the client Rheinische Post and for interested users who no longer want to do without the current variety of information provided by a modern medium.
