In collaboration with Deichmann SE and Studio Bauer, tennagels Medientechnik GmbH is realising an extraordinary media art installation for the atrium of Deichmann’s new company headquarters in Essen. This project combines modern architecture with digital art and innovative technology to create an inspiring atmosphere for employees and guests.
The design concept for the media installation was developed by STUDIOBAUER GmbH, while tennagels realised the technical implementation.
New standards for architecture, art and technology
The LED installation extends over five floors of the atrium, four of which are equipped with LED panels.
These panels are not only technical elements, but are also characterised by their elegant wooden surface, which brings a warm, natural accent to the modern architecture. The wood panelling blends harmoniously into the overall concept of the building and emphasises its aesthetic orientation.
Thanks to a targeted visual axis from the ground floor, the installation can be perceived in its entire dimension and enlivens the central atrium in an impressive way.
The particular challenge of this project lay in the perfect integration of the media technology into the architecture.
Tennagels is responsible for the selection of the LED technology through to the installation of the media surfaces.
In addition to the impressive visual effect, the LED installation enables flexible content display, so that it serves both as an artistic element and as a communication platform for Deichmann.
We at tennagels Medientechnik are delighted to be able to turn this visionary project into reality with our technical expertise. Together with STUDIOBAUER, we are setting new standards for the combination of architecture, art and technology. In addition to the impressive visual effect, the LED installation enables flexible content display, so that it serves both as an artistic element and as a communication platform for Deichmann.
